“The Community Center (www.brooktondalecc.org) is more or less the social center of our small town. It hosts programs and activities, has a nice playground, runs a summer camp for kids, publishes a monthly newsletter, is the site of a Farmers Market and (this year) a summer concert series. My mother was one of the founders, in 1964. It's gone through ups and downs, but with COVID it is up again, as people look locally to find activities and connections.”
