“In Upper Buttermilk Falls Park, above the dam, is a tree-covered knoll I took some of my Ithaca High School students to. It’s not only a neat spot for meditating, but I showed the kids how to find and examine owl pellets. They’re long grown now, and I hope at least some of them share neat stuff with their kids.”
