“I started VEEDABEE in 2017 because I wanted to be a musician. The first gig I ever did was a Cosmic Joke Collective, but the first ever gig on my own was at Agava in March of 2017. Fast forward three years and 100+ shows later to November of 2020 when New Vine Records signs me. As an incredibly busy person, I don’t have space to be creative. Because of New Vine and the magic of that recording space, I’ve been able to find creativity amidst the depression and wild world of wedding DJing (I work with Washburn Entertainment) post-pandemic restrictions; it’s like drinking from a fire hose. The place also helps soooo many other artists in the community and cultivates family in the process. Without NV, I don’t know if I would be making music right now, if I’m being candid.”
